Nature 505 is a black white wing abstract painting 120x160 by French artist Muriel Napoli, an original canvas from her Nature series painted in 2025 with ink, acrylic, pastel and oil stick. Signed on the front and ready to hang with 4 cm finished edges, it is available now with a certificate of authenticity.

A dark, speckled core sits just left of centre and releases its charge outward, pulling fine strands of ink into two great fans that open like wings across the canvas. For anyone looking for a black white wing abstract painting 120x160 with real movement, this large monochrome artwork brings all the drama of contrast without a single note of colour.

Nature 505 measures 120 x 160 x 4 cm (47.2 x 63 x 1.6 in, height x width x depth). Painted in 2025 by Muriel Napoli, it is a single canvas stretched on a solid wooden frame and worked in ink, acrylic, pastel and oil stick. It belongs to the Nature series, a long-running body of work in which fluid materials are left to find their own paths across the surface.

On the left, black cells ringed with soft grey halos scatter towards the edge like a spray of seeds. On the right, a single sweep of combed ink bends in a long curve and leads the eye down to a dark sphere dusted with white. During this session, Muriel Napoli poured fluid ink and water, drew them outward, then flicked white acrylic over the granular centre and returned with pastel and oil stick to sharpen the darkest marks. A fringe of small drips along the lower edge keeps the trace of that movement.

The painting is signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Professional-grade materials give the surface its alternating matte and glossy passages, and the finished 4 cm edges mean it is ready to hang without a frame.

Does it need a frame? No. The canvas edges are finished, so the work hangs as it is.
