On the left, a soft aqua lobe sits inside brighter turquoise washes, edged by a thin turquoise line that runs down the flow. The ink was poured onto a wet gesso ground and the canvas tilted so the pigment travelled upward, each fringed crest forming on its own where the ink met the drying surface.
