Nature 220 is a windswept ice blue abstract painting 160x100 cm by French artist Muriel Napoli, created in 2022 in ink, acrylic, pastel and oil stick on canvas. Charcoal and slate grey masses drift into pale blue and open white. This original single canvas is signed on the front, ready to hang and available now.
Every mark in this canvas leans the same way, as if one long gust had crossed it from left to right. This windswept ice blue abstract painting 160x100 moves from dense charcoal washes into pale sky blue and open white, a calm yet lively piece of large blue and grey wall art for a living room or a bright entrance.
Painted by Muriel Napoli in 2022 as part of her Nature series, the work measures 160 x 100 x 4 cm (height x width x depth). It is a single original canvas made with ink, acrylic, pastel and oil stick, stretched on a solid wooden frame with finished 4 cm edges, so no frame is needed.
Hundreds of black droplets cross the surface, each one drawn out into a small comet-like tail by the movement of the wet paint. In the lower centre they gather into a dense diagonal cloud, and up close some of them reveal flecks of bright blue. On the right, the grey and blue veils fade gradually into the bare white of the canvas, leaving plenty of breathing space.
During this session, Muriel first let diluted ink spread and pool into soft grey and blue fields. She then built density with acrylic, softened some transitions with pastel and placed the sharpest accents in oil stick.
Nature 220 is signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is made with professional-grade materials and arrives ready to hang.
